I've decided instead of all the different threads of my toys, I'll just consolidate and from now on just use "Those Wonderful Toys", which incidentally is the title for my 2013 project, normally I try to choose a project that gets me out and about, but this year I decided to go small :p

Presented is Alphons Elric, brother of Edward Elric, and one of the protagonists of the anime series Full Metal Alchemist.

Shin Mazinger Z

I have always wanted one of these toys, ever since my mom gave me a 24" Mazinga for Christmas when I was a kid. Being an adult has its privilege

Gundam F 91

While not technically a "toy", this bad boy when he is constructed will make for a very nice model for Those Wonderful Toys...

Last time I built a Gundam model was in the early 90's, can't wait to see if I can remember how to do it

Completed Gundam Chest Section...

This chest so accurate it even has a little cockpit, with a wee tiny pilot, who is never getting painted since A. you can't see him, and B. see A. :p

My Torso Grew a Head!!!

Its amazing my gundam grew a head as if by magic, or by a couple of monkeys who don't read japanese

Wonderful work! I can't wait to see the Gundam mecha model completed. I am a big fan of FMA, btw. ;)
Right now I'm trying to acquire an Edward to go with Alphons, so far no luck though, but the F 91 Gundam is taking a bit of time :) Really wish I could read Japanese, or they would sell an English instruction manual lol.

Armed Gundam

Well today I formed the arms  Technically if I follow the instructions tomorrow should be the legs, but I think I probably do the waist first so the legs have a place to go

F 91 Waistline..

Well we lost the Gundam's head for a bit, found it before it got permanently lost, but now our Gundam has a waist which means tomorrow he should be walking on his own legs, not just magical PS floating :p

Well except for his weapons, and some additional detailing, the F 91 Gundam is now pretty much complete... And nobody important died during the building process

Awesome stuff! Love the Full Metal Alchemist series, and really no need to say anything about the legendary Mazinger or Gundam series. Unfortunately, I lost my right to accumulate these toys since the arrival of my daughter (which was 4 years ago)... :frown:

...so, now, I've moved onto accumulating other toys, which are my camera gears!
