Was wondering if some folks might help me out. I shot about 100 B&W pics recently, and I'm stuck on a couple of pairs. Was wondering if folks could give their input on which treatment they prefer.

    The come in pairs

    Set 1, A and B

    1 hour from Sydney Australia.
The first set. No 1 because I prefer the screw as a subject rather than the drawer in the second. In the second I prefer the tones And detail retention of the second treatment. In the third the window is distracting and best blown out.

Just one guys opinion, of course.

  4. All Bs.

I like the highlights and sense of perspective in 1B and that you can still identify the objects in the top drawer even though they are further from the focal plane.
I prefer the detail and lighter background in 2B.
I found 3B more interesting. The window and shadow are a bit more mysterious when they are out of focus.

    All IMHO of course

Set 1 - B - the point of focus seems to distract me from the overall look
Set 2 - B - the shadowplay seems more interesting - otherwise they're very close
Set 3 - A - like the shadows again and the more defined 'stains' on the wall - very Blair Witch Project
