I've already been following these lenses, I for one find them very interesting!
Well, has anyone tried this lens yet?
olympus 45 1.8 with AF or this one f1.2 manual... hmm..I go for the oly. hard to beat..
I can't really see me spending this sort of money unless its wide-open IQ is on a par with the Panasonic - and that I very much doubt. For most people the Oly 45/1.8 is hard to beat - excellent IQ, small, lightweight and cheap!
Cosmetically they made it look just like a Leica lens.
Good to see that they designed a focal length that makes most sense for MFTs rather than APS-C.
Interesting. If you want subject isolation, this could be the ticket. MF is better for shallow DoF anyway. It's also cheap enough for a special situations lens, i.e., something to complement the O45 or P45.
Unfortunately it looks really soft..... especially at f1.2...
