Here is what I wish for:
    A) focus stacking (for macro shooting)
    B) using the screen as a track pad to select AF focus point while using the EVF
    C) having shutter speed and ISO on the two dials at the same time (for legacy glass)
    D) being able to save and recall settings on an SD card or over USB

    E) Make it impossible to move from Auto ISO to 25,600 ISO with one slight nudge of the front dial! ;) Instead, force the user to 'dial forwards' to get to high ISO numbers.

    e) just nice to have: panorama shooting mode (with automatic stitching of shots just like my gm5), and if they can have this work with the ibis. ;)

I very much want the track pad focusing and focus bracketing. I would definitely use those features, and they'd add more value to an already great camera.

Also, saving settings to SD or USB is a brilliant idea as well.

YES!!! We really need a modern panorama mode. I also own an old NEX and an RX100M3, and the panorama mode is BRILLIANT. One of the only things I really miss on my OMD that Sony has.

Let's see some Fuji style Kaizen philosophy from Olympus! :th_salute:

I would like hand held hi-res mode, but I don't know if that is doable with firmware.

I'd like to see if when you add the grip that you can reassign the original shutter button, also that you can have a different horizontal vs. vertical AF point assignment.

    two more things:

    f) i think olympus should allow the wi-fi function to be assigned to a function button and not just accessible from the lcd touchscreen.

    g) i hope they can improve their wi-fi remote control (via mobile app) implementation, to be similar to panasonic's, i.e. the lcd still shows live view and not just a static image.

    - Rotating info on screen and EVF when shooting portrait orientation.
    - Focus stacking.
    - Save settings to SD card.
    - Firmware update via SD card.

Yes! My phone can make a sweep panorama, and many compact cameras have had this feature for years. Why not this camera?

    Old E-M5 functionality for EVF/screen-switching:
    1) Screen on, EVF off
    2) Press a button -->
    3) EVF on, screen off

If I've understood correctly this can't be done atm. Am I right?

And another thing that COULD allow me to buy this model eventually:
A button to rotate the image on the (annoying) swivel screen 180 degrees. That would allow using the swivel screen in a way that it would face up (while not making the camera twice as big - widthwise). Hard to explain what I mean but it doesn't really matter anyway since it's not coming.

You can do that easily on EM5 II. Just disable the auto switching sensor, then use FN3 to switch. I think it's the same as EM5.

Also, the swivel screen is amazing once you get used to it and realize all the possibilities it opens beyond the tilt only screen.

I voted: B using the screen as a track pad to select AF focus point while using the EVF.
Which should be easy for Olympus to fix now that the E-M10 M2 got this.

I would also like to be able to set minimum shutter speed in auto-iso options.

I want all this for E-M1 as well :)
