Terrific shot Chris.
We've had none of that white stuff down here. :(
Thanks Brian, nice feedback is always appreciated.

The snow has been and gone here! There was rain earlier in the week that washed all of it away, even from the high ground. Yesterday we had more snow, it stuck in the morning but then the snow that coming down melted the snow that had settled, must've been wet snow! There is still some snow from yesterday's flurry on the high ground so I'm hopeful of getting some snowy landscape shots with the 4/3 beast I got this week if I get out on a walk over the weekend.

Will you even need to get out with "the beast"?
You'd probably get some close-up shots of the high ground from your bedroom windows. ;)

Got to brave the beast... my back might say otherwise after a 10 mile hike!

Living here on the south-west coast of Wales, we hardly ever get much snow, as the Atlantic winds tend to bring in mild, wet weather.
This one is from a visit to my hometown of Runcorn in Cheshire when I was visiting relatives in 2010.
The steps lead up to one of the town's favourite pubs, 'The Travellers Rest'; now sadly shut down and converted to a private residence.

Snowy morning today. Looking out on the backyard from our kitchen. Pretty as it is, I hope this is soon gone.

Typical Alberta winter day, blue skies and a touch of snow. We have not had a real major dump in central Alberta yet this winter but it's probably coming!!!

The town of Big Valley in Alberta. The grain elevator is part of the Alberta Prairie Railway and is preserved along with the parts of the roundhouse to the right of it.
