One of the things that amazed me when I first migrated to Oz was how much green space was compulsorily set aside whenever they opened up new land to the housing estate developers. You can't travel far in any of the suburbs here without finding somewhere to escape to.

The rain finally stopped the other day, and I found myself in a nearby village with the camera bag to hand. The church was built in the 11th century, and as the centre point for the village all the buildings about it live in close harmony. It was good to feel some sunshine.
