Front door of Porters Original (Expensive) Paints (also known as Painted Earth) shop on Hampton Road. For a shop selling paint and maybe this is just me, but I would have thought the entrance might need to be spruced up.

Been trying some evening shooting last night, mostly out of curiosity:

This window captured my attention because of the reflection below it, the blobs are overgrown moss. In post there wasn't much I could do with the file because it was very dark so I tried something different, convert to black and white, blow the highlights to contrast the light and darken the shadows to keep only 3 elements in the entire frame, and cropped to 1:1 and positioned it as symmetrically in the middle as possible.

I was quite intrigued by the look of this perspective, modern English style houses with 3 autumn trees and light by the street lamp. This neighbourhood is brand new, it was finished early this year.

The old footpath to "The Farmer's Field", never seen it at night. I was mostly curious how it would look with such a dark and contrasty vibe to it.

They were okayu, I didn't have high expectations as I had never been on that side of the town at night, I was quite tired from the 12.5 hours shift I just finished at that time. My main focus was the train light trails at the bridge but I am quite happy with the first image and I do consider it the 2nd best of this "effort".
