Well joined this forum since I spend tons of free time here, so figured I'd show some recent pics of a local historic park Christmas event. Beautiful place to shoot! All EM-1 Mark 1.

The Historical Quarter - Le Puy-en-Velay - Chemin de Stevenson-2018-08 by Andrew Priest, on Flickr

I got rather fascinated by the shutters on the buildings in the old part Le Puy-en-Velay.

Day 0 of 12 - Le Puy-en-Velay: Walking the Chemin de Stevenson (GR 70 Robert Louis Stevenson Trail) in the south of France.

This is an unusual one.
I happened to be walking across a bridge over a canal when I spotted a dog running along the towpath, before jumping into the canal.
It's owner came dashing along and bent down to drag it out. I just managed to get the shot in with the ripples making a decent pattern.
Happily, the dog seemed none the worse for its escapade!

I've thoroughly enjoyed your series of photos of the shop fronts from the Yorkshire and Lancashire towns Peter; so much that I was thinking of changing my holiday plans from the beautiful Yorkshire Dales later this year.
However, this one will be diverting me back to the countryside. :D

Thanks, glad to hear you're enjoying my images - I think the Dales will be a safer bet for a holiday 😀😀😀
