The Symmetrical Face

    Makes me wonder how I would look perfectly symmetrical....

    Weird! I wish he would have shown the person as they really are then the two symmetrical pics. A few of the pictures don't look much different and others look like two different but related people{siblings maybe}.

    Most of them look like the original photos weren't taken straight on, which makes the mirror images look weird (narrow + fat head, ears different sizes). I don't think it's entirely equal left/right perspective.

    Ears, noses, lips, mouths are different sizes on each half for most folks. It's half the fun of this sort of thing. Pretty cool.

    I'm a bit surprised (if I understand the website correctly) that one composite always looks much "wider" than the other, which I wasn't expecting.

    I know that features are different sizes and that's the point, I just think that the artist is being a bit sly with some subtle perspective bias also to create an effect.
