I was at the Jersey Shore a couple of months ago and I'm sure I posted a couple of photos here somewhere of an end of the world storm that was skirting past us along the mainland. We were back for a few days early this week and it was stormy as hell one of the days. And I got a few more shots of the apparent end of the world approaching as the beach-goers (ourselves included) while away the time before it hits. Sure enough, about a half hour after these shots, we all beat a hasty retreat back to shelter as the heavens opened, but it was pretty cool viewing before it hit.

First, one from June, for context (this was shot with the Fuji):

And a few from Tuesday, with the EP3 - btw, these are NOT with an art filter, but are processed similarly to the dramatic tone filter:

And a couple from a less dramatic moment:

Ray - absolutely amazing photos! They look like the skies from many a blockbuster alien invasion movie. The first photo has the most ominous looking cloud formation, but you get more of the "impending sense of doom" effect in photo #3 with folks enjoying themselves in their beach chairs. Thanks for sharing these.
