How did you wrangle a flight in that?! The shot with the balloons is fantastic!

Just brilliant! Looks like a frosty morning. Where in the land of Aus were you? Inquiring minds need to know.

North Eastern Victoria, Michael, not far from the border city of Albury. It was a very frosty morning and several Yaks that had been left on the tarmac overnight weren't able to get their engines started until later that morning. It would have been the perfect time for a US attack! :D

Very nice! Very intense color but also very natural.

Ah - that explains those hills.

It must've been a thrill for those in the balloons being buzzed by a bunch of YAKs

It is rather ironical isn't it!
Thanks there entro' ... in Oz the early blue-white light of a frosty winter's morning is clear and bright and colors are that intense as you say.
It was the flight of a lifetime I have to admit. I would have like the pilot to do a few rolls but I guess he wasn't prepared to have me do a technicolor yawn all over his cockpit.
I was at the briefing, Michael and they laid down a few very sensible rules about not flying too close to the balloons.
