@Phil.H. I agree there is something in this picture, maybe that it is B&W (didn't know you had snow in the UK) or it is the leading lines or curves of the stone walls.
The front wall draws you in to the farm and the back walls leads you up to the ridge.
Very nice!

I wish i'd had my 75mm with me so i could have framed it a little better, 100mm was too much and i couldn't go any further back because of a wall.

Meh...It looks fine like it is. If I had one wish, it would be to finish the fence loop on the tier above the trees on the left. Short of that, I don't know. It seems to suck me in. It looks cold and bleak and I should be put off, but I feel like I'm invited in.

Any chance you can revisit the area when seasons change? I'd love to see it in all four!

Edited to add: One of these days I'm going to go for a drive and see if I can find a hill...
