I would say the opposite, the windows gives even more of an emphasis that its a church. If you have access to Photoshop and inclined to use it why not clone the corner of the window and extend the picture a bit vertically so you have 3 perfect window on top. It would add a bit more emphasis that peeps are on the bottom of the "God" chain.

An interesting take on the possibilities. Thanks for your input!

it is a mini boom barrier, being operated remotely in sync with the traffic light cycle. honestly I didn’t know what it was until I spent a couple of minutes observing how it had operated before taking this photo…
