Today was the first time I used my new manual focus Laowa 17/1.8. As hoped, the zone focusing was much more reliable but I think the images aren't as contrasty as what my Pana Leica 15/1.7 produces. The 15 just seems to produce punchier images...or maybe it's my imagination. Hmm.

Just a thought .... I wonder if this image would have more impact if it was cropped up to where the black line is? It would take out the extraneous peoples heads, and isolate the stairwell and chap on his phone. Just a thought.
