In the background you can still part of the scaffolding around a big building.
It is wrapped in orange cloth to keep dust out I quess ?
The man in the blue in front is looking at a long piece of digital wall art
that is giving us a look into the future what the area will look like when its finished.
That is why the light and overall feeling of where the people are below (on the wall art) is different.
He did a great job with that
Also giving me a chance to make a cool photo

The different lighting angles add extra contrast between foreground and background. Great picture!

Okay, Will, you teased us with the photo. What is the backstory? What really seals the deal is the open door on the police cruiser. Great stuff.

The last few months most of my photos have been of drug activity in my area. Heroin and Methamphetamine trafficking. That's primarily why I've been absent on the board here for awhile. Shooting, editing and emailing pictures (with circles and arrows on the back of each one explainng what each one was, as Arlo Guthrie would say) to the police. I've shot hundreds of pictures of drug deals for the local police in order to try and clean things up a bit. Most images are unusable on a public forum because the identity of the individuals is apparent. This image is of the arrest of the primary target individual. It offers anonymity to the individuals while still getting the basic premise across. Eight others were arrested that night as a result of the surveillance in other locations. It's mostly over and I expect I'll be focusing my camera on more pleasant pursuits in the coming days. I finally posted in the bird thread the other day after a long hiatus.

I saw the guy's reflection in the shiny black tile and wanted to capture it when I snapped this photo but had to manipulate the image to bring it out and it looks kind of fake.
