The tinted glass gives the outside a somewhat monochromatic appearance, especially in relation to the illuminated entrance.

I must have passed this wall art many times,
just never turned my head towards this small back street :)
I have been told it has been there for some time.
I love the colors in the back one.

That's sure some street Kev!
Definition: "Street photography does not necessitate the presence of a street or even the urban environment. Though people usually feature directly, street photography might be absent of people and can be of an object or environment where the image projects a decidedly human character in facsimile or aesthetic "

My personal take of "street" is a genre of photography that records everyday life in a public place although some diehard participants in the genre would probably frown on something like this despite it speaking of the public environment and the public participation in that environment

Hi Kevin, my remark wasn't meant to derogatory in any way, so I apologise if you thought it was.
More tongue in cheek really, and I sure wish we had a few more "streets" like that over here.
I fully concur with your view that you are taking photos of "everyday life" rather than beach scenery for instance, so please carry on showing such great pics for our delectation.
Brian.

Spent three hours walking around today, shooting only with zone focusing and using the rear screen on my GX9 + 15/1.7. Focus was off in many cases but it was close enough I think. Quite liberating to shoot without waiting for focus. I like how intense these two guys look.
