This photo has a small story I would like to tell :)
I came to this place hoping to see some skate boarders on the small square in front.
There were none there but there were these two young men.
I looked at the scene and saw the nice lines.
They were in a deep conversation though.
I kept walking around pretending not to see them haha.
Debating in my head if I would ask them for their photo.
Then at some point at said to myself.... go for it, what can happen.
So I approached them and told them I was practicing street photos.
They were very cool about it and started asking about the camera
and other things, which calmed me down a bit.
I am glad I overcame my fears :)

Beautiful and at the same time disturbing shot. We see these homeless in our towns as well and it really is a shame.
I like the b/w-rendering, the composition and the lighting very much.

@Walter Thank you Walter. I attempted a play on words with the title as the poor guy didn't meet my eyes when he said, "Thank you" and kept his head bowed. It's a shame that there is so little is done to solve the plight of the homeless, a shame that unscrupulous, and often aggressive (non homeless) beggars have detracted from the problem making more folk avoid giving and sympathising, but the title is more about the shame that many feel, having being reduced to begging.
