Well I'm relatively new here, but my guess is we have more than one thing in common.

Yes I know, we're all awesome.. that isn't what I'm thinking though.
My guess is that we're always the one doing the shooting.

So, this is my "Other side of the lens" challenge!

I'd like to see a few of the folks I chat so amiably with here at MU-43, and the avatars can be...... well, graphically misleading, along with the screen names or handles.

I know there's a self portrait gallery... it's nice, but it runs toward the artsy side eh? I'm talking about someone else just plain shooting you, hopefully with an m43.

So, give it a whirl. Lets see if we have the guts to show ourselves on the other side of the lens.

I'll go first since it was my (poor?) idea.

Here's a photo taken last week at a by a client on location, they're in the visuals business and were excited by the sight of my m43 gear. I took a few of them, then they decided to turn the table and shoot me.

Have some guts....

here's one that my wife snapped of me on my 42nd birthday last month. I've explained to her the beauty of natural light photography. She captured this on in the iAuto mode with the aid of that speedy 20mm lens.

Breeding the next generation of Pen Fans

Couldn't resist this one; both of my sons are actually into photography, the older one with the E-PL1 more so than the young goof ball with the E-P1.

You've just redefined personalized customer service---thank god it wasn't one of those classic IT "power not switched on" issues! Hopefully you got some travel miles for the effort as well!

Thanks

Thanks, Alan, for the link to Neil's site; he's a great photographer with a great website (though it was definitely straining my poor 5 year old Powerbook G4 12").

Taken about 8 weeks ago - my wife complains I'm never in the photos so had this one taken at daughter-in-law's 40th.
