The official "Macro" thread

I know there are numerous macro lens based threads on here, but I think a general image thread of all macros pooled together would be useful. I've tried looking for one but I don't think one exists!

To start things off:
These are done with the Minolta MD Macro 50mm f3.5 with 1:1 adapter on my G5.

Guys,
It would be much helpful and enjoyable if everyone are following the OP and add more information into their post eg.(Body, Lens, Adapter, Tubes, Flashes ... etc ...). What do you guys think?

A spider wrapping up a bee. The bee was still kicking, but the spider was very persistent.

Tamron 90/2.5 on a Panasonic G2 with a camera mounted flash shot through a piece of white paper or bounced off of something handy. I don't remember which.

I don't remember the aperture, but it was probably between f/8 and f/16.

G2 at ISO200, 135mm enlarging lens on a bellows all on top of a distressingly heavy tripod.
Again there was a camera mounted flash involved, probably shot through a diffuser. OK it was really a sheet of white paper. Diffuser just sounds more photographer-y.

I really love the detail and the even lighting. I think it was worth your effort. A home-made diffuser always feels like such a huge value for the effort. I'm partial to folded waxed paper in a pinch.
