That 45 looks like a NEX lens! I'm glad it's not too chunky. The 12/2 is pretty sweet looking!!

Both lens look good. Hopefully CA will be kept to a minimum and decent sharpness as well.

Does anyone know if any reviewer has both lens for a direct comparison?

Dpreview has quite a few sample 12/2 photos. I haven't seen any samples with the 45 yet.

I wonder if the difference in AF of E-PL3 and E-PL2 is noticeable.
    Me wants the 45mm/1.8

I want the 12mm and 45mm :( my poor bank balance!
Not so sure about the EP3 with the changeable grip looks like the grip could break!
EPL3 looks very like the Samsung NX100 actually with the more rounded corners.

Overall quite impressed but I think I will be investing in new lenses to accompany my EP1 before I upgrade the body.

I already pre-ordered the 45mm since it's first come, first served. Mid-September CANNOT come soon enough! Why so long!?!?

I just bought the PL45/2.8 two weeks ago. May have to return it and wait until September for the Oly version of the 45. Macro is not a big deal for me, although it is a nice feature. But definitely not a $400 feature (difference in retail price between the the Oly and PL).

I love the 45/1.8. Hopefully by the time it comes out I'll be in a financial position to buy it. I've pretty much abandoned using my kit lens because the quality I get from the 20/1.7 has spoiled me and the results from the kit always disappoint. I think that the Pens are much more suited to fast primes anyway and the 45 would be a great complement to my 20.

I have my eye on the 45/1.8, but I think I'll wait for reviews, samples, etc to be posted first. I would've liked to see Olympus released an updated 17/2.8, since general consensus around the Internet is the Panasonic pancakes are better performers.

If I were to buy a new camera today, it'd be between the E-P3 and the G3. I'm happy with my E-PL2 though and I think I'll wait to see what's released at the end of the year.

The 20, certainly. The 14 is arguable. If one can discuss it, this means both are good enough.

I agree. While the 20 is considered to be a superior lens (and I think is is quite a lot better technically) I have some wonderful shots that I did with my 17. The lens is part of it but what you do with it is the other.

I have to admit I'm rather pleased with what they are offering in the EP-3. I've been thinking about upgrading my GF1, but I didn't like the direction panasonic took the GF Series. The G3 does interest me however.

I'm very pleased with the lenses they released. That 12mm sounds fantastic! I already have an adapted Minolta 45 f/2 that I'm happy with but I may get that 45 f/1.8 down the road.

I know I'll be able to get a G3 for far less than the EP-3, but I wonder which would be the better low light camera?

I think G3 is better in low light but lets wait for more reviews and information.

Good ol' marketing ploys. Dangle the most expensive camera out there first, get all the early adopters to buy the most expensive model, then release the cheaper models. :)
