I know this is subjective, but with regards to the first 2 photos, I'm wondering which one is more pleasing? I processed them both in camera with a slight variation. Just trying to get feedback. Thanks!

I moved closer and got a tighter shot, but I really dig the tree from this perspective.

I like the unused space on the right. Most people (myself included) would have flipped the camera and done a portrait on just the kid.

I should have left the negative space on the right, instead of the left:
