I can really see a Chinese industrial conglomerate taking over the remnants of Olympus and run with them. Actually they're already testing some cool ideas even if the implementation is currently a bit meh...
Anyhow, this is good news for the long term availability of cameras to use our lenses. And MFT makes a lot of sense in emergent and less affluent markets.
Now, I just have to learn reading those pesky ideograms...

ps. Yes, it was released in 2019 with an EF mount. And yes it was announced in March. What makes it newsworthy is a) YN switched to a regular MFT mount and b) it's not a vapourware anymore.
