Your series on Fort Macon on Emerald Isle, NC.. has been very informative and I thank you for the images. Should I ever be in the area of the fort, I will surely make a trip there to see it.

It's a very nice and well cared for Fort that is well worth a visit if you get down this way.

I love being an, “I told you so ”PITA! LOL
I like the sign explaining the furnace and its significance (I didn’t know a red hot cannon ball could set a ship on fire).
I looked up the fort after your second set. Several of your images are similar to those on a couple of sites. I remember stopping in Beaufort, both ways, when we visited Charleston and Savannah. I guess it was during the restoration since I don’t recall any references to the fort.
A bit of a correction— we visited Beaufort SC; not NC.

Good Morning,

I revisited a local brewery to get some additional images for their website & social media. Got to use the Oly 12-40mm, Laowa 7.5mm and my new TTartisan 50mm f1.2 for this visit. Having the two MF lenses with me got me to slow down and study the viewfinder, much like when I shoot large-format film (4x5+).

Regards,

Edd
