The Magpies were very busy hunting for chips outside the local pub, reopened today after a 5 day snap lockdown for Covid.

Low-hanging clouds over the Siskiyou mountains in southern Oregon, on a cold day of intermittent winter drizzles.

Looking for an old photo I found this one from my epm1 and kit lens from a years ago visit to Amsterdam. Not sure why I needed to upgrade. :)

Chris, I often feel like that when looking through my old E-510 files.

Some of the best photos I have ever taken were taken with it and its two humble kit lenses.

I've just bought an E-PM2 because it's absolutely tiny, and 'better' than my E-510 in many ways.

I upgraded my E-PM1 to that E-PM2 at one point. The EPM-2 was a wonderful camera. I was just too ham fisted to work the tiny controls and that drove me up to the EM5s. Still love that small form factor and great sensor the E-PM2 had.

The E-PM2 certainly has a nice sensor, but easy to see the difference between it and my E-M1 MkII at ISO 3200 (both Sony).

It does require a totally different holding technique and mindset from all five of my other bodies. MUCH harder to hold steady! I'm working on it ... gradually getting better.

I now have three decent systems -

Tiny: E-PM2 + 14-42 EZ

Small: E-M1 MkI + 12-50 macro

Not so small: E-M1 MkII + 12-100

Each has its uses, and all are compatible.
