Continuing on from the great work of @ManofKent and @NoSeconds and the Monthly POTD Challenge and following the discussion in the August thread we are here again in spring (or fall).

The purpose of this challenge is to encourage and motivate us to get out and shoot and to share our work with the others in the group. Ideally that would be daily, but we appreciate that life gets in the way so a few times a week or just on the weekend is just as okay. No one is judging or keeping count; rather the aim is to encourage you in your photography.

All are most welcome to participate.

    Copying and pasting the "rules":

Images may be straight out of camera JPEGs or manipulated to your heart's content. Pushing yourself past your normal comfort levels is encouraged.
    • Try to post a single shot (of ANY subject) taken each day, or every few days or once a week or as often as works for you during the challenge. If you miss a day (or a week), don't worry, no one is judging you. The idea here is to get folks out and making pictures, not to play lunchroom monitor.
    • Since this is a :mu43: forum, images shot with :mu43: equipment are encouraged, but this is not strictly a requirement.
    • Most importantly: HAVE FUN!
    • Add the date you took the photo and if at all possible, try and post within 48hrs of taking the shot.
    • Provide equipment details and find circumstances behind the shot / photographers thoughts interesting, but as with all the "rules" these aren't mandatory!
    Regards
    Andrew

October 1, 2015: The chemical/oil products tanker, Vacamonte [IMO 9402691] undertaking sea trials in Fremantle Harbour before heading out to the Cockburn Sounds Trails Area. She was turned in the port and then headed out to sea briefly before turning and coming back into the port where she turned again before heading to Cockburn Sounds. Marine Traffic.com shows she did a bit of circle work out in the Cockburn Sounds before eventually returning to Fremantle Harbour later in the day.

Thought it was about time I had a go at this daily challenge

October 1st: Grabbed a few shots of my father in law's on Massey-Ferguson 135.

Spotted this horse through a gateway on the way home at lunchtime. Liked the frame. Black and white and square crop seemed to work best.

October 3, 2015: This what I believe to be a BMH Marine Siwertell auger-type continuous unloader which has a capacity of 17,000 tonnes per normal working day. The unloader is installed at the Kwinana Bulk Berth No. 4, Kwinana, Western Australia.

Day one, Feast of the Hunters' Moon. I'm exhausted. I shot a gazillion photos. Most were sot with the Kodak Cine 62mm/f2.7. I've started sorting through them. I only had energy to publish this one.
