Took this tonight after work when I went out for a walk - OMD+75mm
Just one of the many old style shops we have in our town
Now you made me hungry!
Great home made bread and cakes.
I'm not sure that I understand the point of this image. Sure I understand that beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but I just want to be sure that I am not missing something very significant.
I gues that sentiment could be applied to 90% of the images posted.
I have posted this in an effort to show how the 75mm renders tones & textures as well as capturing an olde world style shop front in a modern age; as that is not stated the interpretation is very much in the eye of the beholder.
I am sorry you do not see the point of it but feel that is the way you view it in comparison to me.
Hmmmm.... that's a lot of left-over bread
Nice shot, Ian. Interesting perspective from that 75, too. FOV looks like it might have been shot with a wide angle rather than a tele.
BTW... glad to see you're enjoying some color (colour ? ) in your images lately
I have to say that the OMD and Olympus Viewer 3 produce really good colour matched results and so I am enjoying the "Colour" run as opposed to B&W.
I will be doing some B&W soon though!
