In an effort to promote tourism, I feel that the government has turned Singapore into one big amusement park in recent years. The following shots were taken during a recent business trip to the city state, so they were mostly shots taken in the evening and between meetings, and they don't even include the tourist locations like Boat Quay, Clarke Quay, Santosa, etc...

    1. A panoramic night shot of the Marina Bay:

    2. Garden by the Bay:
    E-M5 7-14mm @ 7mm f/4.0 1/250s ISO 200

    3. The Singapore Flyer:
    E-M5 ZD14-54MkII @ 54mm f/3.5 1/1000s ISO 200

    4. View of the Marina Bay Sands from the Garden by the Bay:
    E-M5 7-14mm @ 7mm f/8.0 1/160s ISO 200

Finally figured out what the supertree grove at Gardens by the Bay reminded me of: Dragon's Blood Trees, found only on Socotra island, Yemen (botanically, one of the most unusual places in the world).

    not my photo, btw.
