Looks like I'll be in Thailand on a business trip in a month or two. A few days in Nakhon Ratchasima (also known as Khorat) and then 2-3 days free in Bangkok.

Any advice, tips, things to definitely not miss? I travel a fair bit, but haven't been to SE Asia before.

Bangkok is crazy! Best way to get around is using the overhead train (BTS), subway, canal boats, bus and Uber. I'm not a fan of tuk-tuks (motorcycle taxis) mainly for safety reasons. What do you want to shoot? They have a little of everything. It's worth checking out the camera stores there, since they dedicate an entire floor of the mall just for photography. It's pretty awesome! :D

This is very much a business trip, with a couple of personal days tacked on, so not photo-centric at all. I mainly want to absorb as much of the vibe and culture of it as I can in the limited amount of time I have, and if I get some decent shots, so much the better. :)
