I picked up a TG-6 today.

The menu system is somewhat frustrating, but ended up getting a tip from another user, which made things a lot simpler. Access from the ‘live controls’ screen, allows to set RAW and also manual ISO.

I’ll take it out in the field tomorrow and see how it performs.

Had a bit of a play with the TG-6. The RAW files aren't recognised by my software, so I changed the EXIF data to TG-5 and all good.

Nice one. I use the TG-5 as a second camera, and as long as the crop is not too large , it works well....:)

So far the TG-6 has failed to impress me. The images appear to be generally soft, and if I turn the noise reduction off, there is more apparent noise in the image, even the RAW files at base ISO. The noise is not generally an issue as I apply noise reduction, in post.

I'm absolutely loving this camera. I bought it specifically to take on hiking and overseas rough trips + for underwater purposes like snorkelling.

the Raw output was also a major part in my decision.

I've got the TG5 and can confirm that in bright light the screen his virtually useless.
Shame it's apparently only a bit better on the 6!

I have the TG5 and currently staying at a beach house for a few days. The TG5 is nearly usless in the sun, if the TG6 is even slightly better I would get that model, anything is better than nothing

A friend of mine ordered one (TG6) and tried it over a dull weekend and was really disappointed with it.
He said the shots were all blurry and promptly sent it back.
Perhaps it needs bright light for good pictures, even if you can't see what you're taking.

I got mine about 2-3 months ago. Overall, I'm happy with it, but not thrilled. I use it for some grab shots, but its main use is for video. I still have to explore more of its capabilities. Used correctly, it gets me the results I want.

Just a few edited TG6 shots from our Honeymoon at St. Lucia. I'd say the camera serves it's purpose.

Well, that's a really good set of pics.
That's the first time I've seen an underwater photo and it's top notch.
Glad it's serving its purpose....and congratulations on getting hitched. ?
