Testing Out The Sony RX100 III

    Here's a few test shots with the Sony RX100 III that I bought for my GF. I'm not convinced with it's handling and overall UI but the overall results are pretty nice.

    Exactly why my time with the RX100 vI was short. But it was for me and not my girl friend (or my wife from that matter :rolleyes-38: )

    LOL... While I've used and shot a number of Sony cameras in the past (DSLRs and P&S) that have produced lovely images, none of them have appealed to me in actual use. From my experience, another trademark of Sony cameras are it's vibrant colors and if anything, a bit too vibrant especially in the reds. All of these images needed to be desaturated and color channels adjusted.

    Here are a few more images.

    I was curious how bad high ISO would be and as one can imagine, it's not very good. Smudging and loss of detail is quite evident at ISO 6400.

    This is an interesting ramen restaurant where each person gets their own little stall. They cook the ramen, raise the curtain up and serve you your bowl of noodles.
