I played mandolin at a gig with Ted the Fiddler yesterday. About halfway through our third set, a three-year-old girl came rushing the stage gleefully yelling "Santa, Santa, Santa!" Her mom came running after and swooped her up, apologizing for the mistaken identity. Now, I can't help to think that for as long as this little girl believes in Santa, she is going to think that he spends the offseason performing at local pig roasts.

Great portrait. Sadly I never find myself in situations where there are I see people of great character. I retire soon. Maybe then.
