Tawny Frogmouth & annoying friends

    The birds in our backyard seemed to be getting upset over something or at least I thought something interesting was happening so started photographing them.

    First the Butcher birds were carrying on


    A Bowerbird was joining in

    And of course, a Noisy Miner was having its say, but enjoying some tasty morsels as well.

    The pièce de résistance was the Tawny Frogmouth (being harrassed by the Noisy Miner), a bird I haven't seen around here before

    And still voicing its annoyance at being disturbed

    Now taking a look at this new intruder (me)

    And at the others coming look too

    There is a millipede climbing the tree beside the bird too.

    Now later as it tries to sleep before a busy night ahead.

    I hope you enjoyed seeing these as much as I did taking them.
    All taken with E-M1, ZD50-200SWD lens & the last one including the EC14 teleconverter
