The birds in our backyard seemed to be getting upset over something or at least I thought something interesting was happening so started photographing them.

First the Butcher birds were carrying on

    A Bowerbird was joining in
    M3223731-s.

And of course, a Noisy Miner was having its say, but enjoying some tasty morsels as well.

The pièce de résistance was the Tawny Frogmouth (being harrassed by the Noisy Miner), a bird I haven't seen around here before
    M3223782-s.

And still voicing its annoyance at being disturbed
    M3223789-s.

Now taking a look at this new intruder (me)
    M3223898-adj-s.

And at the others coming look too
M3223842-s. (This a large photo & only presented as a thumbnail here. Click on it to see the full size)
There is a millipede climbing the tree beside the bird too.

Now later as it tries to sleep before a busy night ahead.

I hope you enjoyed seeing these as much as I did taking them.
