    Tamron SP 300mm f5.6 close focus

    I'm not so good at hand holding this lens but it seems pretty sharp on a tripod. I use it to get close to skitterish dragonflies and such. Most shots need significant PP including contrast, clarity, and usually defringing (LR4 is so good at this that I acutally enjoy using this lens and the Oly OM 200mm 4.0 now).
