These were taken from the opposite shore to the left of the small city park along the Buffalo River. FYI, a local company "Explore Buffalo" offers visits into the grain elevators. They offer two types, with one of them taking you into the upper floors. I've done them both and can recommend either. Also, the group working to re-stabilize the Columbia for it's future trip home to the Hudson River offers an on-board tour, also very nice. They just ask for a small donation to help fund the project.

Here's a couple of pics showing the grain elevators and Columbia inside views. The images were taken with Olympus or Pentax cameras/lenses about two years ago.

This is very cool and I didn't realize she was in Buffalo. You just gave me something else to do this summer. ;)

Very nice, and thank you!

Explored another semi-local nature preserve. Not knowing what to expect I packed my Olympus E-M10ii and Tamron 14-150 lens

I have used (no a lot, admittedly) the 45-150mm along with my 12-60mm (both Panny, the latter the cheaper one). I've missed the versatility of my old Pentax K5IIs with the Sigma 18-250. That was my "round Ireland with a fridge" setup; a bit chunky and certainly heavy; but it was the one lens I needed when traveling and I was never caught in a situation where I couldn't shoot. My GX85 does have that lovely night mode for darkened interiors...
...so I pulled the trigger this afternoon and ordered a used 14-150 Di III. Hopefully, I won't be disappointed. The photos in this thread, however, are lovely and maybe the Tamron will give me, essentially, a bridge camera with a large sensor. ?

The Tamron 14-150 just arrived and I shot my ubiquitous backyard birdhouse. 150mm, 1/800th @ f5.8; just added a touch of texture in LR. Bokeh seems fairly clean.

As I wrote in my previous post, I'm looking for a one-lens solution for travel. I think I found it; with this lens, my rig is smaller and lighter than my old S100fs Fuji with a sensor 4x the size. The Fuji is 28-400 whereas the Tamron is 28-300 but I'm okay with that. There will be some lenses being sold...
