I have been on a search for a good 135 so far I have 2 Minoltas, a Sakar, a Hanimex, a Soligor, and the best up to now a Mamiya Sekor. I think I really perfer this Tamron to all of these, see what you think

    DMC-G3    ---       f/1.0    1/2000s    ISO 200

    Original Photo at f4.0

    DMC-G3    ---       f/1.0    1/2000s    ISO 200

    1:1 of the above photo

    DMC-G3    ---       f/1.0    1/4000s    ISO 200

    1:1 at f2.8

    A little soft at 2.8 but a razor at f4.0 (I think)

    Check out the Bokeh
    DMC-G3    ---       f/1.0    1/1250s    ISO 200

    Apache Plume

The only thing I don't like about this lens is that its closest focus is about 5 feet.

    A trip to the zoo

Took my new toy (Tamron Adaptall 135mm, f2.8) to the zoo yesterday. I love this lens.
    DMC-G3    ---       f/1.0    1/400s    ISO 160

Red Panda, almost too cute to be real. Taken at about f4.0-5.6

    DMC-G3    ---       f/1.0    1/800s    ISO 160

I like the odd composition of this one. probably taken at f4.

    DMC-G3    ---       f/1.0    1/4000s    ISO 160

This one going to get a trip to Photoshop if I can get my son-in-law to do it.

    DMC-G3    ---       f/1.0    1/320s    ISO 160

And this is just cause you can't get enough photos of red pandas.
