i used to have a super tak 50 1.4 w/ my ep1, but it wasn’t the easiest thing to use though I liked the results

I’m thinking my g85 might be better handling for this lens. Anyone else use this combo?

What is difficult about using it?

    Go for it!
50/55mm lenses are nice on m4/3, a fairly deep hood's a good idea. The Taks have a great rep and yours should be decent by at least f2.8.
A viewfinder makes it all so much easier with adapted lenses.

The EP1 can't do focus peaking. And it can't use a VF-4 high-resolution viewfinder. Without these two amenities, manual focus is taxing. That's why I've consigned my Lumix G3 to car duty with an AF zoom.
