I Just acquired a Rokkor 35mm f2.8 and a Super Cosina 80-200mm f4.5-5.6. I have to order a MD adapter and while I'm waiting I was wondering if anyone had any insight in to these lenses. The Cosina says macro on the body is it a macro lens?

which Rokkor 35mm F2.8? The MC W.Rokkor HG one? I noticed mine seems to suffer from oil in blades and coating issue on the edges yet the other rokkor ones I have didnt.

It's an HG one. It seems seems to be in great shape except a thread dent.

Most, if not all, of zoom lenses marked "macro" are not true macro but are actually "close focusing".

I was wondering about that because it says macro 1:4 and that doesn't sound very macro ,but It will be 1:2 on my GF1 right?
