Summertimemacros (alot of images)

    Went for a walk in the forrest today, and used the oly 60mm Macro + Kenko extensions and flash with homemade diffusor on my E-M5 and the oly 75mm on the GX1, here´s the results.

    They work fine since i have one more camera, because when they are attached you can only fokus in about 4-7cm infront of the lens, so it´s all macro when they are on.

    I also love your macro pictures. Always big fun to watch your work. Saw very great macros on your homepage some time ago.

    This time I was puzzled because you say you use the 60mm with extension tubes. I tried the 75mm with 16/26mm tubes and reasoned about buying the 60mm to get clean 1:1 mag and to get rid of the tubes (as you said, the limited focus range hurts).

    Now I see you add the tubes to the macro :confused:.
    • Is it because you want more magnification, like 2:1?
    • Or do you want to change the working distance??
    • And how big/small were these spiders???

    I use the extensions to get closer.
    The spiders was from 20mm to 5mm, the smallest bug (round brown one) was under 2mm.

    With the extensiontubes i get about 8mm to cover the hole image (horisontal).
