    Very atmospheric processing. I especially like the composition in both. Not sure of the vignetting though. Only because it doesn't add anything to either of these two nice slices of life.

    Very nice.

    I agree, the vignetting is a bit too much but overall I like them.

    I agree with the others, the vingetting feels too heavy - but I really like the photos. :cool:

    Thanks all. I'm especially pleased with these shots as I refine my B+W work. Other than tweaking of levels they are straight out of the camera, including vignetting. I have three 16mm movie lens, which present various degrees of vignetting. I make the most of vignetting as I can to incorporate into my aesthetic. In theory this 63mm/2.7 should cover the sensor, but the added macro capability over Kodak's 67/2 reduces it.

    That makes perfect sense - going back and looking carefully at the photos it is obvious that the vingetting is consistent in both shots. :doh: It would have helped if I had paid attention to the lens being used!
