caroline what you dont know about your own talent could fill a book or at least a sketch pad , every sucessful drawing or painting starts with a single stroke ,just as every good photo starts with an idea, if you just hold your camera in the direction of something vaguely interesting at fire away , well youll get what you get...but if you have ab idea in mind and try to be aware of the dynamics of what is occuring in "your rectangle" and choose what is and exclude what in notThose paintings are so incredibly expressive - I wish I had that artistic talent. :smile: In fact the reason I turned to photography myself is that I realised that I could never express what was in my head using my hands alone... it takes a piece of machinery in my case to express my feelings, and I have so much admiration for those who can do it with their hands and mind alone :smile:
