I get the same feeling with my 100-300mm, my friends call it the "creeper" lens whenever I bring it to the beach.

and what movie is that? Scorsese and Leo so itll probably be good

That's pretty neat... though I completely understand where you're coming from with the paparazzi feeling!

Thank you BigTam, I corrected the posting. I hope I will never write "paparazzo" and "me" in the same sentence.

    :)

How far does that lens zoom in? I don't have experience with that large of a zoom. I need to post to see if I can find some pictures...

There's an ongoing thread and a lot of the birders here use it. :2thumbs:

You are able to compute magnification by dividing the lens' focal length by the normal FOV for your sensor size. So for micro four thirds it's 25mm (22.5-25mm if you want to be strict about it). So at the near end 100mm div by 25 = 4x, while at the furthest, 300/25 = 12x. :43:

I've always preferred the M. Zuiko 75-300 over the Lumix 100-300 and you've illustrated why in this post

That is really cool! I used to work on 57th between 6th and 7th. Next to the actors guild. I met so many actors, musicians, etc... Most were very nice.

    Great shots!

I find it interesting how people tend to get out of the way whenever I'm pointing my 300mm Nikkor at things...

These would have been worth some real money if they were naked. These folks just look like boring working stiffs having a meeting. Nice shots though.

On a related note, is it just me or is DiCaprio turning into Jack Nicholson? Your pictures seem to validate it

I took another set of pictures, I will post a couple tomorrow. It was cool to see Martin Scorsese also. The movie is called "The Wolf of Wall Street". And yes, it is Leonardo Dicaprio.
