Hello All,

Ran into Staples in Mendon,Ma today. They had the EP-L1 as a kit for $499.

Looks like it's even less if purchased online.

The store manager said "I heard it was an awesome DSLR" that was the extent of his knowledge...

I saw that kit in the Staples in Indianapolis, IN, too.

They had it on sale for $389 a couple of weeks back.

That's awesome. When you see them, post them.

There are lots of folks concerned that Olympus isn't doing a great job getting the PEN series into retail outlets.

That was the reason for my post...

Gotta watch Staples from now on, especially for online special buys.

The E-PL1 is currently $449.99, last month there was an additional $50 mail-in rebate.

Early this week they had a Zuiko Digital ED 40-150mm f4.0-5.6 Zoom Lens for $109.99. I missed out on that one. Checked back again and the price was up to $159.99 - still a good deal. Then found a $30 dollar rebate on anything over $150 went to order but it was out of stock - no new stock expected. Dang!
