More exactly : I recently got this old 50mm f1.4 that I like very much, but the rubber grip used to focus got unglued. Before I glue it back with fast glue, any caveats, things I should definitely not do or use, or specific kinds of glue to use absolutely ?

Also, when a lens has dust inside, how expensive is it to have it cleaned / how difficult to do it yourself ?

    Thanks in advance

I use double-sided tape sold by Jon Goodman. Very thin, very sticky. Good for camera coverings as well. I have used it to hold focus rings in place on "basket case" lenses.
