Man, your countries have beautiful spiders. We don't have that much posh ones here in Aotearoa unless of course we go to a spider farm.

Beautiful capture, @retiredfromlife. Do you find these spiders in your regular photowalk?

They can be interesting but I always envey people who live in the tropics.
Most of the spiders I post here are from my back yard.

Only the big orb weavers are from near by bush but they seem only to be prolific every few years.
They can have bodies about 40mm long and very big leg spans.

The recent ones I have ben posting are very small and large crops, hence the large amount of noise present. Plus they mainly come out at night which is lucky as it is too windy during the day to get an in focus photo.

I took a lot of netcaster spider photos around last Christmas but have not got around tomprocessing any of them yet.

Also just ordered some smaller profile flashes to hopefully help me direct the light between the leaves as mosty the flash just provides shadows as it is too high.

Interesting that they are just living in your backyard. We don't have any spiders in those forms, at all. Most of our spiders here are even exotic.
