About a 6" SW Centipede, if you've ever felt one bite a pair of 11" forceps you know why these are "no touch" critters.....Not an arachnid but they do like to eat arachnids:)

We used to get the Caribbean version in the house when I worked there. Nasty, nasty bastards. Can make people very sick.

First Saitis barbipes of the year - Europe's close cousin to the Australian Peacock spider. Not quite as dandy, and not nearly as good on the dancefloor, but still cute as can be.

The European cousin of Australia's dancing Peacock spider - Saitis barbipes. Not quite so flashy, but just as enchanting :) Photographed on a return to an old lens with a couple of Raynoxes attached. Not quite up to the quality of an MP-E 65, but way cheaper :D
