Speedlight portrait

    I've been experimenting a bit with butterfly lighting, and I quite like it. This shot is two hot-shoe flashes w/ shoot-through umbrellas mounted vertically in front of the model. You can easily achieve the same effect with just one flash and a reflector.

    Very nice - great catch lights in the eyes, nice soft look.

    I was going for a 'high key-ish' look so yeah, it's a bit light. :smile: Here's another one I took yesterday while playing with just bouncing the flash off the wall behind me. It's a bit darker:
