I'm getting the Pelican 1520 case (that way some of the taller lenses can stand up even with adapters. If you want to lay them down on their sides, and don't need the depth then the laptop case 1495 would be good!)

If I'm putting the smaller lenses in their horizontally (glass facing each other), how much space of Pick N Pluck should I leave between the smaller lenses? Say you have the 12-32, 14, 20, 30, and 45 all lined up lens cap to rear cap. Should I leave 1/2" or 1" between them?

What about for the heavier adapted lenses like the Konika 40/1.8, 50/1.7, etc? They'll be horizontal too. I was thinking 1" for these because they're heavier.

For the taller lenses I'm going to stand them up. And I plan to leave a minimum of 1" there too.

Finally, I found this online. Should I be worried?:

"Remember that foam has outgassing. Not an issue for short term storage. Keep the lid open when ever possible. Discard foam after 3-5 years. NEVER store lenses or sensitive material in a locked case."
