Hi all, I've been reading up on the forums the past couple months, but never posted. Here are some shots I've taken with my GX1 and Leica 25mm 1.4 when walking around Boston...Loving this camera so far! Comments/crit welcome.

    Welcome!

Nice shots. I really like #5 and #9, though all are good. Great place to live--I spent 6 memorable years there while in grad school.

(Love the diagonal lines in #5!)

This is probably the friendliest m43 forum out there, so don't be a stranger.

  3. Nice work. I particularly like your fourth and fifth images

I love the perspective here, like that of a kid standing on a car bonnet/park bench watching the grown-ups play.

    #5
great layer effect....smooth bokeh and sharp-contrasty foreground subject...WINNER

    Thanks for the feedback guys!

I've got to find a way to show flickr photos on here so I don't have redundant galleries on here.

    Thanks!

This is becoming really addicting... I got the custom SLR sling (& c-loop) and the camera is on me more often than not.
Any crit on my technique? Would love to hear your thoughts on how I could improve my photos.

Interesting to see Chinese chess being played on the streets of Bean town. I had played a few times in China when I visited. Although, I am partial to Japanese chess, but I have not met anyone who plays.

I haven't played Chinese or Japanese but Chess is my fav game . I played at Uni level always enjoy a good game .Indian blood in me makes me more inclined towards original chess which originated in India itself . We should ask Amin to some online games like chess so when we are more free we can talk about something else ..hahah
