I took these last weekend in Atlanta at Blade, the largest knife show in the world, with my 30-year old Nikkor 50/1.4 on my G1.

    Ron,
They all read well but #4 has a certain something standing out.
It may be the simplicity of the background but it works on a level above the others.

Thanks Don. The gentleman in #4 is a very good friend whom, due to his health, I may never get the opportunity to photograph again. I'm glad I got a good one.

Yes, #4 has a really warm quality. I would love to see a B&W version of #1. lot's of features that may really stand out...

While it's always hard to really judge on screen, I say you have a really fine lens there.

Ron, it's better than we both thought.
I looked at the images on a large screen.
When that one came up, I immediately Felt something inside.
You did and do your friend honor.

Ron, I'm with both Don and Pelao. I felt the same things. Now with your comments it underscores for me why I need to bring my camera with me every time I can.

Thanks again Don. John is a Vietnam vet who was severely injured in 1970. He currently has a 12-month prognosis. He is one of the best men I know.

Here is #1 in B&W. By the way, this is Chuck Mawhinney ... #2 US sniper.

The 1st one is the best. This lens is so sharp. :)
