I've been spending way toooo much time thinking about the upcoming EPL5 and figured I should post a few shots just to shake the gear from my head and share some pretty pics.

Here are 3 -- 2 from Vancouver B.C .. and one from the campsite on our way back home. All with the EPL1 + 20mm .. out-of-camera jpegs.

The first is the pond at the Sun Yat-Sen Classical Chinese Garden. Its small, somewhat expensive to get in, but filled with wonderful delicate architecture and "modified" nature. I ended up taking a bunch of shots just of the pattern in pebbles in the walkways, but that is not nature, so you get the pond.

This 2nd picture is at Queen Elizabeth Gardens. I used to live near there as a kid so it was nice to visit. Took this particular picture as the mother-in-law likes flowers .. and I didn't want the isolated-flower-with-blurry-background pic.

And finally - camground at Thompson River near Clearwater. Nothing fancy -- I just happen to like Hand-of-God pictures.

Now back to dreaming about new gear.

I like the composition of the first shot, but the sky seems to have thrown the exposure off a bit - it could be a little brighter. I like the flowers in the second, they don't need to be blurry. The light in the third is great!

    Hey RevBob

Tks for the comments (same to others). On the first, I kinda wanted it a bit muted. I have other pics which are brighter, but then the coloured pads don't look as nice. I could adjust in pp but I'm generally too lazy for that

Hope no offence taken with my "terminology" on the 3rd pic ......

Not on my account - I'm always encouraging my folks to be on the lookout for God sightings and this certainly qualifies!

Love #1 (perfect exposure to me) and #3. #2 does nothing for me, but the colors are lovely. Keep up the great work.
